ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

For an organization (or part of an organization) with an interest in moving to a more agile way of working, some form of transition planning and initial activities is recommended.

Such activities would include:

  1. an assessment of organizational readiness and needs,
  2. staff and management training,
  3. continuous improvement planning, and
  4. initial pilot team efforts.

The length and depth of transition planning and initial steps will, as expected, depend a great deal on the size of the organization, the physical distribution of team members, and management's ability to engage in the organization's transformation.

More targeted coaching engagements would be a natural follow-up to such transition activity.
